Mobile Magic

I have to admit it that I'm getting a huge creative kick with using rendering software now.

Suddenly, I'm no longer restricted by using someone else's video footage or story lines. It's wonderfully freeing to be able to create any visuals or stories I can imagine.  So you can definitely expect to see more comics from me in the future.

Here is my latest one.  It was just recently released over on TG Comics, so you can check it out there too, along with a ton of fantastic work from other artists.  It's also posted on my DeviantArt site.

This comic is actually based on a texting caption that I posted about a year-and-a-half ago, called Messaging Magic.  However I've adapted it into a video chat format (instead of texting) and reworked the script in a bunch of ways that really enhance the story.

Check it out below and leave me a comment if you can.  For better or worse, I'd love to hear what everyone thinks about my newest creative outlets.

Enjoy!

Truly,
Wren

  1. Extremely hot. Love the update to the old cap. You seem to be getting quite good at renders as well. Thanks for all the hard work you put into your site.

  2. I'm so glad you're going to be using renders more often. I was so afraid all that talent of yours might go to waste, because this comic was so fun and imaginative. It really is one of my favorite TG themes you've done as of yet and I can't wait to see where you're comics take you.

  3. Great little series! I always love text messages as a caption format, and this is a nice take on that. Can't wait to see what else you come up with :D

  4. I was wondering if you would help work on a render about a watch that let's the wearer transform into other people. to transform into someone you must have there DNA in the watch.

    1. I'm actually just kind of getting my bearings with rendering artwork and I have a lot of ideas of my own to get out. So unfortunately, I'm not really taking any requests right now. Interesting idea though.

    2. Ok thanks for telling me. Do you mind telling me if you know anyone that could help me?

    3. I'm afraid not. Given time and/or money constraints for most artists, you might be hard pressed to find someone to work with you on this, unless you're able to pay them for their work. You could always try posting something on the forum over on TGComics to see if someone takes you up on it.

    5. There are a lot of tutorials out there. YouTube is the best place to start if you're looking to learn. That's what I did.

  5. Like the others said, this is really well done. I liked especially the expressions on the womens faces. It added to the story. I'm looking forward to more.
Also, it's impressive how you find new ways to express your ideas.
Just one little thing about this one. The writing on this was very small and hard to read on my phone, and it seemed like the bubbles could be a bit bigger without interfering with the visual.

  7. I am wondering what happens when the potion wears off? That could be an interesting story by itself. Keep up the good work>
